Last night was an awesome night. FEIST was in town and played an incredible show at the Palace Theatre. I don’t have much time to write today but I at least wanted to mention this performance.

This was definitely one of the best shows I’ve ever been to. Surprisingly the theater was not very crowded. I thought more people would of showed up especially since the tickets were only $30.00. That’s a pretty good deal for such a good show.

Leslie’s voice is amazing even when she is speaking. I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to see her perform. The show’s special effects were also great. Everything on the background screen was done with an overhead projector. There was a woman, which I think Leslie referred to as the Shadow Maker at the end of the show, who was on stage at all times creating the effects with the projector. It was really a unique way to add something special to this show.

The opening act was Hayden an Indie artist from Ontario Canada. His performance was great as well. Hayden had a great personality and added some humor to the night. At the end of his set he mentioned he would be back to Cleveland later this summer, but he didn’t know the name of the venue. I’m definitely going to keep my eye open for that show.
