Direct Me To Spain
One of my favorite things to do is travel. Currently we are looking at booking a trip to Spain. This is making me slightly nervous. I’ve never been to Europe so deciding exactly where to go has been an issue. Right now we are looking at the city of Castellon (spelling?) which is near Barcelona. We were also contemplating Ibiza but not sure how we would get there.
Greece would be nice too. Basically I am undecided at the moment.
Any ideas or advice on where to go, stay or visit? Thanks!

Ten years ago I spent a week in Castellon, although I was part of an international IT inventory so it was for work. Lovely town, and the drive in and out of Barcelona was stunning.
However I just returned from our honeymoon in Spain (Morocco & Portugal) October. We spent almsot a week in Seville, and it was fantastic. It has the third largest European cathedral — which was plenty big enough to awe. The lifestyle there was amazing. It may be the case that all of Spain has the same pace, but "tapas" were born in Seville, and starting in the late afternoon you can spend your day walking from bar to bar having a small dish of food (ah, the jamon) and a few drinks, place after place after place. The buildings are stunning, there's a large shopping district. You can rent bikes to zip between areas of attraction or just walk as we did. In out 4-5 we saw some of the city and a lot of great architecture — but didn't even get to the museums. The only thing I can imagine missing here is a view of the sea. On our way to Morocco (via the port in Algeciras) we did see much of the coast (Costa Del Luz?) and if you're looking for water sports the large but lazy river in Seville might not be enough for you (Tarifa is lousy with parasailing, which was impressive to see form the bus).
Let me know if you have any further questions, I can try to help.
Russ – Thanks so much. This is definitely helpful. We were also thinking of visiting Morocco, funny that you mentioned that. I would love to go there.
I will let you know if I have any specific questions. I appreciate the info!
